Tommy Fury had to splurge for a 300-mile Uber trip to get to LAX airport from Las Vegas after his brother Tyson Fury’s fight last week.

The 22 year old struggled to find any means of transport apart from a taxi so he had to travel for five hours to get to his flight back home to the UK.

The Love Island star expressed how excited he was to get back home to see his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague but faced an ordeal even getting there.

Tommy had been in Las Vegas as he supported his brother’s boxing fight against Deontay Wilder.

He Facetimed Molly-Mae as Tyson won but is now returning to their Manchester penthouse.

However he has had to splash hundreds of pounds on a 300-mile taxi ride first.

Tommy posted on his Instagram story a boomerang video out of the window while he was travelling to Los Angeles in the pricey cab.

He wrote: “Little update – had to get an Uber from Las Vegas to LAX because all the flights were full and all the car rentals were hired so silly me. Always plan in advance, guys.

“Then flying from Los Angeles to London. Can’t wait to see my girl @MollyMae miss you so much.”

The trip would have taken an estimated five hours to travel from Vegas in Nevada to the Los Angeles airport in California.

An estimate for the journey’s cost came to $309.40, but it could have cost more depending on which car Tommy chose or if there was a surge due to the higher demand at the time that he travelled.

Molly-Mae and Tommy met back in 2019 on Love Island where they ended up coming second place despite many thinking they were going to be crowned the winners of that series.

Since then the pair have gone from strength to strength with them moving in together initially in a flat but then upgrading to a Cheshire penthouse which they both regularly document on their social media pages.

However, they have now been searching for a house to buy for more than a year but the couple can’t seem to find their dream home.

Molly-Mae often posts videos on the YouTube channel where she has 1.6 million subscribers where she shows what her and Tommy get up to as well as recently showing that Tommy has often been jetting off to the US.

However, Molly-Mae keeps busy herself with multiple brand deals and recently landing the role of PLT’s Europe Creative Director.
