Cherry also showed the former lovers are still amicable, commenting on her ex-husband’s social media media update.

“Over a decade of marriage, and still talking and love each other. I’d say that’s pretty damn good!” she quipped under the snaps.

The former couple originally split after just six months of wedded bliss

Pete and Cherry tied the knot in 2010 and fans were invited to watch their nuptials on the TV show, Four Weddings.

The popular show followed four brides as they planned their big day – attending each other’s weddings – before going on to vote for their favourite celebration.

The winning couple were rewarded with a luxury honeymoon.

After appearing on the reality TV show, Pete shocked fans when he announced that he and Cherry were planning to divorce after just six months of marriage.

Pete first rose to fame after winning the seventh series of the Channel 4 reality series Big Brother in 2006.

During his time in the iconic house, he struck up a romance with his housemate, the late Nikki Grahame.

Speaking earlier this year, the reality TV star admitted the former couple felt “under pressure” when they left the show and joined the outside world.

“Everyone wanted a piece of us and we were doing big interviews together as a couple but people were watching our every move and it so much pressure – I think she was too much for me to handle without Big Brother telling her off!” Pete confessed to Heat magazine shortly after Nikki’s sad death in April this year.

Nikki was found dead in her London home on April 10, just a day after she had been discharged from a hospital facility where she had been receiving help and treatment for her eating disorder.
