Jacqueline Jossa has shared a story involving husband Dan Osborne throwing “freezing cold water” at her in a bid to calm her down during a row
The I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! winner was reflecting on her and the former TOWIE star’s relationship when she made the claim.
Speaking in a new interview, the former EastEnders actress admitted that after four years of marriage, the happy couple rarely argue these days.
Despite no longer locking horns, Jacqueline shared a few anecdotes about the infrequent times they do find themselves having a fiery row.
The 28-year-old mum-of-two admitted she was “still pathetic” in arguments” and holds grudges when he and the 30-year-old reality TV star come to blows.
“I love an argument sometimes. I think that’s the dramatic in me, where I’m not doing EastEnders anymore, screaming and shouting all the time, but we’re well past it now,” she explained.
“The other day he chucked water at me, that’s how we argued! I was fuming at him and in a bad mood and he was like ‘I know how to (sort this)’.
“And he threw freezing cold water at me right after I showered. That’s how we argue now, we haven’t got the energy to do that big blow up argument anymore, we don’t do that.”
The happy couple tied the knot in 2017 and are doting parents to two children together; six-year-old Ella and three-year-old Mia.
Despite being the picture perfect family these days, Dan and Jacqueline’s romance hasn’t been without its problems over the years.
In 2019, the couple were rocked when unfounded rumours about Dan’s fidelity emerged – leading to Jacqueline temporarily taking some space from her husband.
In December of the same year, Dan issued a public apology to his wife.
Speaking via Instagram, the dad-of-three wrote: “So after weeks, months, years of constant articles & rumours, some true, some very untrue. I want to publicly say, I know I have made mistakes, we all do as humans, but I’ve made some that have almost cost me my family.”
He continued: “I have seriously learnt from these massively, so I want to publicly apologise to my beautiful wife and my family for the mistakes I’ve made.
He also wrote that he was “the luckiest man in the world” and was looking forward to a future filled with “love and happiness” with Jacqueline.
After reuniting following a brief split last year, the mum-of-two told The Sun that the couple had therapy to repair their marriage.
“I kept it in for a while, but then over lockdown it was a really good time and place for Daniel and I to go through everything — an opportunity for us to talk through it all. For me, this meant turning to therapy,” she told the publication.
“And because of that, I couldn’t be in the same house as Dan. There was no big argument or bust-up, and there were no other girls. Moving out was literally how I had to deal with it.
