I’m A Celeb: Frankie looks back on argument with Naughty Boy

I’m A Celebrity’s Frankie Bridge says it was “difficult” to protect her mental health while on the show.

The former singer, 32, came third in the series and was the final female remaining against co-stars Danny Miller, David Ginola and Simon Gregson.

And since returning home after getting to the final, the mum-of-two, who has previously opened up about her mental health struggles, revealed it was a “struggle” to keep her mind at rest while in the castle.

“It was really difficult,” Frankie told OK! Magazine. “I was shocked at how high the highs were and how low the lows were and how quickly you switch from one to the other.

“That was a struggle, but it was a struggle for everybody. So the way I managed it was by talking because a lot of us were feeling the same. Everyone was so kind in there and we really looked out for each other.”

Elsewhere during the chat, Frankie discussed the emotional reunion she had with her husband Wayne Bridge and sons Parker and Carter upon returning home to Essex.

She said: “It was really emotional. I was just desperate to see them by the time I got home. The boys were lovely, they gave me a massive hug and so did Wayne. It was everything I had imagined the whole time I was in there.”

Frankie then shared her plans for Christmas, which she says is her favourite time of the year.

The ex-Saturdays star, who says she has been extremely busy since leaving the castle, is excited for her family to come round and for the “hectic” festive period.

Since leaving the castle, Frankie has shared some secrets about the show.

She revealed just how she managed to keep looking good while on I’m A Celebrity.

The campmates weren’t even allowed a hairbrush and had to beg producers to let them have lip balm but natural beauty Frankie managed to power through on the basics.

Frankie said she used soap and her toothbrush to brush up her newly tattooed eyebrows, which she had done before the series to keep them looking neat.

Fans thought that Frankie styled her glossy hair while on the show as well but she insists she wasn’t even allowed a comb let alone products.

She told the Daily Mail : “There has been a big thing about my hair, and I just think it’s really funny because I hated my hair in there.

“I have such flat, straight hair and it seemed to just flick out, but everyone was obsessed with thinking I was doing something to it. I genuinely wasn’t.”

The star said she would wash her hair and had to let it dry naturally.
