Jesy Nelson has ensured that her first gig without Little Mix will be one to remember.

The 30-year-old singer pulled out all the stops in the wardrobe department for Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball in London on Saturday night.

The former Little Mix star, who left the girlband last December, stunned on the red carpet of the exciting event as she donned a sexy leather look.

Jesy stood out from the crowd in an orange fur jacket which she wore over striking leather maroon crop-top and a pair of matching leather trousers.

The Shout Out To My Ex hitmaker made sure to flash her toned tummy and cinched waist in the eye-catching ensemble as she stormed the red carpet.

If that wasn’t enough, Jesy upped the ante in the makeup and hair department as she styled her glossy brunette locks in a straight style while sporting her signature bronzed makeup look.

The singer topped off the show-stopping look with a pair of neon heels which tied the entire ensemble together.

Jesy was joined on the red carpet by fellow music stars Becky Hill, Years and Years singer Olly Alexander, Tom Grennan, and Love Island’s Laura Whitmore among others.

Jesy looked the part for her first live stage performance since going solo after her Little Mix exit.

Last month, the singer made headlines after the video from her first solo single, Boyz, was released to the world.

The singer was accused of ‘blackfishing’ in the video – which also featured rapper Nicki Minaj – as fans hit out at her for ‘stealing black culture’ by wearing braids in her hair and for sporting a dark tan.

Although Jesy’s first solo single was clouded by negative attention, the singer brushed off the criticism and ensured that her first solo appearance on stage would be one to remember.

Jesy’s latest appearance comes after Lil Nas X and Coldplay were forced to pull out of the Jingle Bell Ball this weekend after members of their teams tested positive for coronavirus.

Show organisers arranged for rapper ArrDee and singer Tom Grennan to replace them and stated that ‘the show must go on’.

Announcing the news, Capital FM bosses shared in a statement: “Sadly we have had to announce that Coldplay and Lil Nas X have had to pull out of performing at this weekend’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard.

“Both acts have had members of their teams test positive for Covid-19 and therefore are not able to perform.

“We’d like to wish the very best and a speedy recovery to Coldplay, Lil Nas X and their teams.

“Of course, everyone at Capital is absolutely gutted, but the show must go on…

“ArrDee and Tom Grennan will be joining the line-up. ArrDee will be taking to the Jingle Bell Ball stage on both Saturday and Sunday night, while Tom Grennan will be performing on Saturday night.”

Other acts performing at the event also include Mabel, Anne-Marie, and JLS.
