Katie Price is suspected of sending a poison pen letter to the family of her ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
Kieran fears the model is behind the anonymous note that branded his fiancée Michelle Penticost a “w***e”, which was sent to a relative.
The letter was postmarked as having been sent from Heathrow Airport, and Kieron believes Katie sent it just before going on holiday.
A source said: “Michelle has passed the letter to the police. It’s been a very upsetting time.”
It is understood the envelope was licked, meaning a DNA test could reveal who sealed it.
A restraining order bans Katie from contacting Michelle.
Katie this week was charged with regards to allegedly breaching the existing order in a series of foul-mouthed texts in January.
The ex-glamour model, 43, was charged after she allegedly branded Michelle a “gutter sl*g”.
The restraining order was originally made after Price screamed abuse at Michelle at the gates of a school in 2019.
If Katie is found guilty of the breach, she could face jail.

Sussex Police said: “On January 21, officers arrested a woman on suspicion of breaching a restraining order.
“Katie Price… has since been charged with harassment.” Price was arrested at her home and taken to Worthing police station for a 12-hour grilling.
Her phone was confiscated so officers could examine it for evidence.
