Katie Price stars in teaser for Channel 4 ‘Mucky Mansion’ show

Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion is causing a wedge between her and the kids she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre, reports claim.

The ex Page 3 star is renovating the infamous West Sussex home after years of neglect has led to the home falling into disrepair – and it cannot be done quick enough for the star as she’s hoping that when the pad is done up that she can entice kids, Princess and Junior, to return to the plot.

Aspiring actor and singer Junior, 16, and 14-year-old Princess reportedly “hate the house” and when Katie found out that they were not keen on visiting it led to her being “upset.”

“While they were filming, Katie was upset to hear that Princess and Junior hate the house,” a source told The Sun.

“Although she’s also said she hates it, she really wants to turn the house around – she’s re-doing all of the bedrooms to make it a proper home again.”

Fans are going to be able to watch Katie’s mansion transformed on TV as she will be inviting viewers into her 19-room home via her new Channel 4 home repair show.

This week, the mother-of-five, announced that the series would air soon, as she wrote on Facebook : “It’s official! #MuckyMansion series one will be broadcasting on Channel 4 in just two weeks time!

“Save the date and make sure you tune in to see my crafty creations. 26th Jan at 9pm!”

Fans of Katie have seen inside her Mucky Mansion on TV before.

People were left particularly shocked when her home was shown on an episode of Through The Keyhole and piles of bags and boxes were seen strewn all over the place.

She was accused of being “filthy” but she insisted that she was just a “hoarder”.

Junior and Princess are said to not want to stay there

On her many reality TV shows, Katie’s many pets have been seen running around her home, licking spilled food up off the floor and relieving themselves wherever they felt like.

In 2018, it was claimed that her house “smells like a petting zoo” and that Katie lets her dogs poo inside and doesn’t clean it up.

A source, who was said to be a former regular visitor, claimed that the inside of Katie’s home was “hideous” because she let her animals run rampant and had a relaxed policy when it came to picking up their mess.

They told The Sun : “The state of Katie’s home may be under closer scrutiny now, but it’s been that way for years.

“Dogs’ mess has, on occasion, been left on the floor without being cleaned up, along with used kitty litter.”

The source also claimed Katie’s house was covered in dog hair and dirt thanks to the fact that her five children sit on the furniture after playing outside with the animals.

They added: “Katie is of the mentality that a bit of dirt is good for you, but her home wasn’t a pleasant place to be in.”

In September 2019, Katie gave fans a tour of her mansion and revealed her slime-filled green swimming pool.

She made a special YouTube video in the hope of clearing up rumours that her mansion had fallen into disrepair.

The video showed piles of rubbish around her estate and a swimming pool filled with green slimy water.
