Olympian turned Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Peaty has faced criticism from his girlfriend for ‘exposing’ her in a sweet birthday post
Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Peaty is in the bad books with his girlfriend Eiri Munro.
The 27-year-old star faced criticism from his other half after he took to Instagram to wish Eiri a happy birthday earlier this week.
Despite his good intentions, the sports star left his gorgeous girlfriend rather unimpressed with the gushing post and she clapped back at her beau in a savage comment.
Alongside a sweet snap, smitten Adam, who shares son George with the bombshell, penned: “Happy birthday @eirimunro. You are the best mum George could ever ask for.”
But Eiri wasn’t too pleased about Adam ‘exposing’ her birthday.
Underneath the gushing post, the proud mum-of-one complained: “Thanks for exposing my true identity.”
In a social media post of her own, Eiri opened up about growing older as she celebrated her 24th birthday.
“Thank you to everyone who made me feel special on my birthday,” she penned alongside a stunning snap.
“I never thought I’d enjoy getting older, but lately I find myself so incredibly grateful for every year I get to spend on this funny little place called earth. Especially with my George by my side.”
It comes after Eiri recently ruled out having another child with Strictly star Adam.
The brunette beauty admitted that she didn’t like being pregnant, and the thought of giving birth again scares her.
“Aside from all the pain and the dysphoria that you feel the entire time, don’t get me started, and labour, don’t get me started, to me it was probably ‘pica’ – which I don’t know what it stands for, but it’s when you crave inedible objects,” she said.
Eiri said that during her pregnancy with George, she had incredibly unusual cravings – sometimes for objects and not food.
“For me, I think it’s quite common like it was soap and detergent and anything that is like fatal if you digest it.”
Sparks first flew between Adam and Eiri when they met on Tinder.
Two months later, the pair discovered they were expecting their first child – baby George.
Asked how the pair first met during an interview with The Times Magazine, Adam replied: “Tinder”.

The Olympian and his stunning girlfriend welcomed their son – George-Anderson Adetola Peaty – in September 2020.
Last April, the lovebirds announced their baby joy on social media and they later confirmed their little one’s gender in a gushing post.
