The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, has been spotted several times with The Eternals star Angelina Jolie
The Weeknd has dropped a massive hint about a possible romance with Angelina Jolie in his new album.
Real name Abel Tesfaye, he delighted fans when he dropped his fifth studio album Dawn FM on January 7.
The album – which serves as a follow-up to his legendary After Hours record – features none other than Jim Carrey as a narrator and has guest appearances from Tyler, The Creator and Lil Wayne.
In his track Here We Go… Again – which features Tyler, the Creator – Abel sings about his ‘new girl’.
“And my new girl, she a movie star/ my new girl, she a movie star,” he sang towards the middle of the track.
The next line references sleeping with the person, with the 31-year-old singing: “I loved her right, make her scream like Neve Campbell.
“But I make her laugh, swear it cures my depressing thoughts/I told myself that I’d never fall, but here we go again.”
Fans immediately noticed the lines after his album dropped and took to Twitter to talk about it.
“So The Weeknd is really dating Angelina Jolie huh,” one user wrote along with a gif that said: “My guy”.
Another quoted the ‘movie star’ section of the song’s lyrics and added pictures of Abel and Angelina walking out of a restaurant together.
“the weeknd & angelina jolie confirmed? bye,” another said while screen recording the song.

Angelina and Abel first sparked dating rumours when they were spotted together last summer.
The 46-year-old Eternals actress and the singer had spent the night at celebrity hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica and were pictured leaving just moments apart, according to reports.
Several months later, they were seen leaving the same exact restaurant.

In October, while Angelina was promoting Marvel’s The Eternals, she was asked about her friendship with the Heaven or Las Vegas singer.
E! Daily Pop host Justin Sylvester asked whether her children were more excited by her role in Eternals or by her friendship with The Weeknd.
Angelina decided to remain tight-lipped about her relationship with the iconic singer.
Angelina awkwardly replied: “They’re very excited about this film… If that’s what you’re asking,” she said as she looked as her co-star Salma.
She added in a quieter tone: “They’re very excited about this film.”
The duo have yet to publicly comment on their relationship.
